Sustainable environmental management and agricultural production as a poverty alleviation strategy.

Abstract

A review is presented on the development of sustainable environmental issues that affect agricultural production in the Lake Victoria basin in Africa with a specific aim of reducing poverty in the region. The pollution effect arising from agricultural production activities as well as the possible solutions and actions from the global perspective are discussed.
