    Abstract/Overview
    Information communication technologies (ICT) offer options for developing and improving products to achieve a competitive edge in the marketplace. ICT is a key driver of business strategy and its efficiency and effectiveness is priority if survival and growth are critical to the enterprise. There seems, however, a challenge in its adoption and utility in developing economies. The reported study aimed at assessing the relationship between ICT adoption and the performance of small enterprises in Kisumu City. A survey of 144 small enterprises out of a population of 481 was conducted in this regard using questionnaires and interviews. Chi-square test (χ2), a statistical technique, was used to test the association between ICT adoption and small enterprise performance.
